Rooted in Faith
Growing Into the Future
Our Story and Mission Together
Established as a hub for all generations, Tannehill Valley Baptist Church inspires families to grow in their faith and embrace God's love. We aim to be a beacon of hope in our community.
Tannehill Valley Baptist Church has been part of the McCalla community for nearly two centuries. Through generations of change, one thing has remained constant: a desire to faithfully share the gospel, teach God’s Word, and serve the people God has placed around us.
Our story began in 1827. Over the years, the church worshiped under different names and in different facilities as the surrounding community grew and changed. In 1991, the congregation became Tannehill Valley Baptist Church, reflecting a desire to identify with and minister to the changing community.
In 2002, the church moved to its current campus on Tannehill Parkway. Today, we remain grateful for those who came before us while continuing to look ahead to the people and families God has placed around us now.
